Year 5 Transition Workshops

These workshops are strictly for students who will be starting secondary school in September 2026.

Our transition workshops provide an opportunity for students to see what lessons are like in secondary school, and are where students can work on their skills in their subjects of choice. The workshops are one hour long and run from 4.00pm – 5.00pm. The workshops will run as follows:

  • 3.50pm – students report to the patio with their parent/carer to be registered for their session
  • 4.00pm – students will be collected from the patio by the teacher and taken to the classroom
  • 5.00pm – students will be escorted to the patio by the teacher for collection by parent/carer

Please be aware, parking is not guaranteed at the Valley Park School Site, therefore please allow for extra time to park and walk to the school. The nearest public pay and display car park is at the end of Vinters Road, on the junction with Sittingbourne Road.
