Applying to our Sixth Form

At Valley Park Sixth Form it is possible to combine the subjects that you love to create a clear path to the next stage of your life. However, you must keep in mind the individual entry requirements for each course and the general Sixth Form entry requirements.

Information

All of the information you need to make the right choices for you, including entry criteria, is outlined in our application guide. There, each of the Valley Park Pathways are illustrated, alongside information about universities and careers that link to each pathway and a past student pen portrait.

All students should apply via the Kent Choices website. Please note that if you are intending to study a course at Invicta, you can only study one Invicta course (maximum) alongside two Valley Park courses.

Following on from your application, you will have the opportunity to further discuss your choices with your form tutor on the year 11 consultation day. Prior to that day you will receive support and guidance from your form tutor and the Sixth Form team should you need it.

You should have recently received information about this website and how to apply. If you need any additional support you can contact our school directly and we will endeavour to support you through the application process and selecting the right courses for you.

Once you have applied to our Sixth Form we offer additional support and guidance. For internal students this will happen during form time with your tutor or one to one meetings with the Sixth Form team or through your careers meetings with Ms West our careers adviser. External students who apply will be offered additional support and guidance, should they be successful, throughout the induction week at the end of the Summer Term.
