Valley Park School has a published admission number (PAN) of 240 students, to be admitted into Year 7 each year. Applications for places will be made in accordance with Kent local authority’s coordinated admission arrangements and will be made on the Secondary Common Application Form (SCAF), provided and administered by the Kent Local Authority. Please note that a Supplementary Application Form is only required if you are applying for a scholarship.
Appeals resulting from year of entry or transfer applications in September 2020 will be heard according to the following timetable:
- If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2020 you can appeal between 1st March -29 March 2020 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 17 June 2020.
- For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals.
- For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
