Valley Park Forest School launches!
After a successful launch of our Forest School over the summer term, this week our new Year 7 students began their first course!
After exploring the woodland area and helping to preserve the natural space with some litter picking, we were able to begin building our shelters as a fun starting activity to the Forest School learning plan.
The students were given some materials to help them as well as having to source their own natural resources in building a wind-proof and water-proof shelter that could house a small team.
Next week we are moving on to ecosystems...
