The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is an international competition for 12-15 year olds, which invites children from all corners of the globe to share ideas about the future of mobility by drawing their dream cars.

Sixty Engineering and Product Design students from Years 9 & 10, who drew their designs as part of their lessons, have sent them off to the international competition, and will also be on show in the Beadles Toyota showroom from Monday 9 February 2015.

Staff at Beadles, as well as members of the public, have been invited to vote for their favourite design. Andrew Bullimore, the Brand Manager at Beadles, and Aftersales Manager Paul German visited the School on 25 February to announce the winner of their contest in assembly.

Year 9 student, Thomas Dixon, was the lucky recipient of a brand new iPad Mini.

'I was amazed it was me and a bit nervous, as I was also being presented with my silver medal for the British Indoor Rowing Championships,' he said. 'I hoped that someone else also had an achievement to show the year, but they didn’t, so the whole assembly was on me!'
