Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest children's Christmas project, run by the Christian relief and development organisation Samaritan's Purse. Since 1990 more than 113 million boys and girls from over 130 countries have received simple shoebox gifts through Operation Christmas Child.

Every year, schools collect and pack shoeboxes to be sent off overseas to countries where children don't get anything at Christmas Time. Our students were asked to fill a shoebox with small gifts, toiletries, toys, stationery and sweets. Forms worked together and packed shoeboxes in a seasonal show of teamwork. One form donated over 17 shoeboxes!

Today, all 169 shoeboxes were collected by lorry and sent to a warehouse in Ashford where they will be kept safe and dry, ready to be sent off to Bosnia and Romania.
