WHAT TO EXPECT
Practical based subject - expect lots of time in the Art Studios. Spend time exploring and experimenting above and beyond the skills demonstrated in lessons. Expect to work on large scale pieces.

HOW IT’S ASSESSED
Portfolio of work (60%) Combined with externally set examination at end of Year 13 (40% of your grade), a 15 hour Examination at the end of the course in the second year, and a 1000-3000 word Contextual Essay.
