Students Joining September 2019

Valley Park School has a published admission number (PAN) of 240 students, to be admitted into Year 7 each year. Applications for places will be made in accordance with Kent local authority’s coordinated admission arrangements and will be made on the Secondary Common Application Form (SCAF), provided and administered by the Kent Local Authority. Please note that a Supplementary Application Form is only required if you are applying for a scholarship.


Appeals resulting from year of entry or transfer applications in September 2019 will be heard according to the following timetable:

  • Offer of school place for September 2019 will be made 1 March 2019
  • All appeals must be lodged with the school by 29 March 2019
  • All appeals to be heard within 40 school days of the closing date (29 March 2019)

For further information on the appeals process please visit the Kent County Council Admissions page on their website or contact the Admisisons Officer at the school. Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
